Lug body allows one side of the line to be unbolted and removed while the valve remains installed and holds pressure on the other side — ideal for branch isolation.
Why BW / BL Series

Bi-Directional, Zero Leakage

  • "Double-D" stem drive — extremely small stem/disc play
  • Accurate dual stem sealing prevents leakage
  • 100% tightness at full differential pressure
  • ISO 5211 operator flange — direct UFlow AD/AS actuator fitment
  • Mounts per ASME B16.5, face-to-face per API 609 CAT A
Choosing Wafer vs Lug

Which Body Style?

Choose BW (wafer) for the most compact, cost-effective in-line installation between two flanges. Choose BL (lug) when you need to isolate and remove downstream pipework without depressurising the upstream line.
